My friend recently posted this on facebook. It’s pretty interesting examination on aesthetics and approach to theory of beauty. Right now, this makes sense and sounds good.
It’s a good TED talk, and if you’re into any form of art or coming to some understanding the theory of aesthetics, beauty and art on a universal scale to the best of it’s ability, I advise you taking the fifteen minutes to hear this man babble about it.
Our attraction to ‘things that are done well’, assuming that this covers the result of things that aren’t aesthetically pleasing, but carry the weight of the process being well done. As well as our theoretical understanding or no-understanding of nature/universe itself and its creation. We just automatically know its ‘well done’.
Uhhhhh watch it.
